The guidelines are voluntary. Pet Holiday Club supports the parts that depend on information and documents: publishing requirements across booking channels and checking documents against the full itinerary before check-in.

Does it replace IATA LAR or our own pet policy?

No. Your policy and IATA standards stay the source of truth. Pet Holiday Club shows your policy next to the destination’s requirements and checks passenger documents before travel.

Can passengers upload documents before travel?

Yes. Documents are checked and each requirement on the route is marked Valid, Needs Review, Not found or Formality.

How would it connect to our booking and check-in systems?

Today, through route checklists, document checks and the OCR Dashboard. An API, an embeddable checklist and Wallet passes with QR check-in are in development.
