Tapeworm treatment window calculator
Quick answer
Some destinations require dogs to be treated against tapeworm (Echinococcus multilocularis) by a vet shortly before arrival — typically no less than 24 hours and no more than 120 hours (5 days) before — with the treatment recorded on the pet passport or health certificate. Enter your arrival date and time to get the exact window.
How this tool works
The window is counted back from your scheduled arrival: from 120 hours before to 24 hours before, in the local time of arrival. Leave a margin for delays — if the flight is late, the treatment must still fall inside the window at the actual arrival time.
